MAJOR INVESTMENT BANK IS LOOKING FOR PYTHON DEVELOPER FOR A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION IN CHARLOTTE, NC

Position  :  Python Developer

Location :  Charlotte, NC

Duration :  12 -18 Months contract to hire

MUST HAVES:

• 8+ years of Python development
• Willing to take on a lead developer position, previous lead experience is not required
• SQL experience
• Experience actually designing solutions, not just heads down coding

PLUSSES:

• Banking or Financial Industry experience
• Oracle PL/SQL Database knowledge
• Pega
• Tableau or PL/SQL
• Experience with Big Data Solutions and/or Cloud Implementation (Azure, AWS, GCP)

DAY TO DAY

• This Lead Python Developer will be on the Wholesale Credit Regulatory Reporting team over at Bank. The team recently built a new application that houses Wholesale Credit data.
• Now they are focused on adding more programs to the platform which will be taking majority of their time throughout 2024.
• This Python Developer will be helping add the programs onto this new platform and make it more configurable as things continue to develop and evolve.
• This is a lead position, so they will be helping to design solutions for onboarding, as well as actually doing the coding themselves. Previous leadership experience is not required, as long as this person is willing to help lead a small team of developers.
