Summary:

We are looking for a quantitative software engineer to join our Enterprise Risk Analytics team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for applying quantitative methods to develop software capabilities that meet business, risk management, and regulatory requirements. You will work collaboratively within Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support high-quality software solutions across a full stack of development tools and technologies. Additionally, you will need to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Apply quantitative methods to develop software capabilities
• Collaborate within Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support software solutions 
• Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders 
• Stay up to date with technologies and best practices in software engineering 
• Think creatively to solve complex problems 
• Review code and documentation to ensure quality and reliability of software 
• Adapt to changing requirements and shifting prioritie

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of software design and development experience using Python, PySpark/Hadoop, Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Jupyter notebook 
• Experience with full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including DevOps using Bitbucket/Git, Jenkins, SonarQube 
• Understanding of data engineering best practices 
• Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities 
• Knowledge of financial markets, products, and risk management
