Job Description:

  • Would you like to be part of the Conversation Platform & Customer Engagement (CPCE) Finance team for our client?
  • Our team will drive EG customer compensation and Retail Loss financial planning and analysis, while appropriately managing risks and controls.
  • Partnering closely with CPCE Retail Loss organization and director, this role will provide decision-making support that will lead to improved customer compensation unit economics, and will provide support to the CPCE leadership team to drive company-wide strategic initiatives.
  • You will translate complex financial data into actionable information, build financial models, analyze new initiatives, provide financial planning, and measure performance against operational metrics.

 Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer compensation contra-revenue (customer refunds, credits, coupons, goodwill) for all EG Retail Brands & our client for Business partnerships
  • Measure and improve customer compensation metrics by influencing brand policies, and payment processes & establishing appropriate controls
  • Identify process and data gaps and action risks and opportunities
  • Support leadership decision-making through timely strategic and quantitative analysis
  • Provide business advisory and thought partnership to the Retail Loss Director and organization
  • Drive financial reporting, forecasting and outlook, modeling and analysis
  • Contribute to product & technology strategy implementation and development of roadmaps to achieve financial and customer experience objectives
  • Partner with Workforce Planning teams, Operations, and CPCE Finance to drive down unit economics via strategic decisions, staffing and initiatives including Conversation Platform & Contact Center as a Service
  • Collaborate with Retail Loss organization to drive improved agent processes & automation to reduce retail loss
  • Partner with Product & Tech to deliver new capabilities, including virtual agent enhancements
  • Create policy and supplier feedback loops with relevant stakeholders

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of finance or analytical work experience and a Bachelors’ degree in business, finance, or related field. Graduate degree preferred
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative financial skills and strong spreadsheet, data-management, and presentation skills
  • Very organized and detail oriented, with the ability to work on multiple projects within tight timelines
  • Ability to see the ‘big picture’ and understand key trends and levers
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, and ability to influence others
  • Demonstrated understanding of forecasting / planning processes and preparation of executive-level management reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management and stakeholders across different organizations
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented approach towards business problems and process improvements
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical problem-solving skills.
