About the Role:

  • We are looking for a Technical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.
  • The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining technical quality assurance and control systems.
  • The individual will be responsible for defining and specifying the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of client and/or company products.
  • This role will provide overarching QA support including directing implementation of QA/QC practices into the manufacturing process, drive standard work, monitor staff performance; including aligning staff to appropriate areas based on skills/capabilities. 
  • This role is essential to perform 1st shift final operational test/verification (system), support Factory Acceptance Testing (with/without customer), final paperwork/packaging review prior to shipment and perform supplier audits/qualification. 
  • This person will manage CARs/SCARs for the facility; RCCA training (as needed); and update Quality documents for the facility.
  • There is a lot of work to get completed in a short period of time – the candidate must be able to process large amounts of information and determine what is important quickly.
  • Fast learner with eye for detail.

Education Qualification: -

  • Requires a working knowledge of and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques of the technical domain
  • Typically requires a BS degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience

Required Skills: 

  • Strong technical knowledge in quality assurance and control systems
  • Ability to develop and implement standards, methods, and procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical solutions to others
  • Ability to work independently on projects and collaborate with colleagues
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
