• Collabera is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in the Irving, TX area. This person will be expected to possess an expertise within SQL, Python, Teradata, and other data analytic/visualization tools to be successful in this role.
• The person will need to have customer and prospect targeting experience for marketing list development, modeling, and/or analytics using SQL. As well as strong analytic skills to determine all required resources, organize information and processes, and to execute the desired marketing targeting and strategy.
• In this role they will also be working with cross-functional teams so will need to possess strong communication skills. 

Must Have:

• 5-7 years of experience in roles related to data engineering, marketing analytics, or similar fields.
• SQL expertise:  
• Utilize advanced SQL skills to efficiently pull and manipulate data from various sources including cloud and Teradata databases.
• Python Expertise:
• Ability to code from scratch, creating tables, and automating code/data/processes
• Data Visualization, specifically using Tableau
• Ability to take large data sets and understand what it is saying, what information is the data telling you, what are the trends the data is presenting, being able to make an informed decision from the data.
• Strong analytic skills to determine all required resources, organize information and processes, and to execute the desired marketing targeting and strategy.
• ETL experience with large data sets
• Experience using Teradata & Unix – for data analytics & data warehousing
• Experience using Alteryx, to help automate and streamline different workflows
• Telecom/Marketing Background
• Customer and prospect targeting experience for marketing list development, modeling, and/or analytics using SQL
• Experience with customer and prospect demographic data, internally and externally sourced
• Communication/Working in Cross-Functional Teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with a large number of diverse work teams at various organizational levels.
