Position: Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid 3 day onsite)

Duration: 12 months

Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle PL/SQL developer with over 10 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development, with a focus on Oracle technologies.
• As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex PL/SQL code to support our business applications

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL code for various business applications.
• Analyze and understand business requirements to create efficient database solutions.
• Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate database solutions into larger software systems.
• Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and debug database-related issues in production environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for database designs and implementations.
• Stay updated on Oracle technologies and best practices to continuously improve our database development processes.
• Performance tuning.
• Working knowledge of Oracle database, SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX, and Shell scripting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle database concepts, including tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and PL/SQL packages.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle PLSQL, Data Warehouse, and ETL technologies
• Experience with Oracle Financial R12 and Oracle Financial Cloud - Proficiency in Oracle database 12 and higher -
