Top Technology Client looking for Technical Support Engineer in San Diego, CA / Santa Clara, CA

Position: Technical Support Engineer - Performance

Location: San Diego, CA 92121 / Santa Clara, CA 95054 (Hybrid Role)

Duration: 12 months (Possible extension/conversion)

Pay Range: $35-45/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve challenging technical issues related to performance and instance availability within the platform.
  • Act as the last point of escalation within the technical support department

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Web Services (SOAP/REST) and Networking fundamentals
  • Scripting Languages like JavaScript, Bash, Python, Powershell and familiarity with a programing Language like Java
  • Relational databases concepts like MSSQL 
  • Advanced Unix/Linux experience
  • Working knowledge of the components in a web applications stack.
  • Experience diagnosing performance degradation
  • Knowledge on LDAP/Active Directory, SSOor other authentication or user management systems
  • Understanding of Email Troubleshooting
  • Good troubleshooting and customer service skills
