DayToDay Responsbilities:

• Supporting claims for all Gates employees in the United States
• Working with claims adjustment vendor via email, not a lot of paperwork.
• Settling adjustments such as reserve approvals, settlements, hiring councils.
• Reviewing files of existing cases from outside adjusters.
• Making recommendations to leadership, raising flags if claims are over budget.
• This person does not need to be a licensed claims adjuster, they are not making claims decisions themselves. 

Must Have:

• 1 – 3 years of experience in adjusting workers compensation claim. (Open to more senior candidates as well)
• Introductory excel skills.
• Some type of secondary education, manager isn’t picky on this.
• Good writing skills.
• Previous experience adjusting workers compensation claims for a large company, similar size to Gates. Gates has over 10k employees globally, but around 2500 in the US. Can be flexible with this, but we should be targeting candidates from enterprise sized companies. 

NiceToHave:

• Experience working with Gallagher and Bassett – The 3^rd party claims adjustment vendor they are currently using.
