Position: Automation Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6+ months

 Required Skills:

  • Strong programming/scripting experience and passion for testing
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Test Automation including planning, assessments, robust script development & maintenance, preferably in a cloud environment.
  • Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in one or more of the following testing toolsets/frameworks:
    • Selenium Grid/WebDriver
    • Cucumber/Gherkin
    • JUnit, TestNG
    • Maven/Gradle
    • Rest Assured
    • Karate Framework for API Automation or Postman/SoapUI
    • JMeter
    • Accessibility (screen reader/ speech recognition/ navigations through keyboard)
    • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in one or more of the following:
      • Java
      • JavaScript
      • Eclipse, IntelliJ
      • Appium
    • Demonstrated experience with Continuous Integration, including one or more of the following builds/deploy/version control tools:
      • Jenkins/AWS
      • Git
      • Grunt
  • Experience with test management tools like (Jira, ALM, Rally)
  • Experience working in adaptive methodologies like Agile and Scrum
  • Knowledge of SOA, cloud and multi-tenant architectures
  • Experience in testing UI/UX best practices and 508 compliances
  • Strong written and communication skills required.
  • Must be a self-starter/self-directed member of the team
  • Strong at debugging issues
  • C1 Level English Proficiency

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in all or some of the following programming platforms
    • Linux and Bash command line
    • RESTful APIs/JSON, SOAP
    • JMeter and Load Runner
  • Experience working with databases and various data formats and related technologies for testing.
  • Experience working on any of the cloud providers (sauce labs/ browser stack etc.,)
