Position Details:  

 

Client:        Banking 

Role:           Hadoop Java Developer 

Terms:       12 - 18 months contract OR CTH 

Location:    Charlotte, NC

 

Day to Day:

  • Work on Oracle/SQL Server/Exadata for strong database skills
  • Programming in Java, Hadoop/Big Data, Java scripting
  • Experience in Windows and Linux environments
  • Data modeling 
  • Performance tuning 

Must Haves:

  • Role will be about 60% Hadoop and 40% Java.
  • 8+ years of Hadoop development experience
  • 6+ years Java application programming experience
  • Experience in multiple database platforms: SQL Server, Oracle, Exadata, Big Data.
