Day to Day:

Develop monthly interconnect implementation plans to support macro, in-building, small cell, self-perform/third party, ODAS, SNAP(Samsung), LS6, 5G, CRAN, VRAN, and MEC build targets.
Create, design, and issue CIQs (IP/Ports assignments) for new cells, trunks, cell and switch growth, circuit ordering, and carrier additions.
Understand Telecom products such as Native Ethernet, VZON, TLS, and Dark Fiber, as well as IOF and OSP Provisioning process.
Place circuit orders with Local Exchange Carriers for telco services.
Evaluate solutions for projects and coordinate activities between multiple engineers and workgroups.

Must Haves:

A college degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is desired.
Proficiency in office computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Sheets and Docs.
Experience with database management, project trackers, and logic.
Excellent troubleshooting skills, problem-solving, project management, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn new technology quickly and apply working knowledge of wireless engineering.
Self-motivated with initiative and the ability to work independently.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience with engineering and engineering economic principles.
Capable of maintaining productivity in a dynamic environment and managing workflow effectively.
Decision-making skills and organizational and planning skills.
Knowledge of XNG/Granite circuit database, ASR ordering systems, interconnect circuit types, 4G and 5G wireless services, centralized ran, wavelength division multiplexing technology, IPV4/IPV6 addressing, and microwave technology for backhaul.
