Job Title: Zscaler Engineer

Location: McLean, VA – 22102; Plano, TX – 75023

Assignment Type: 3-6 months – Contract to Hire

Job Description:

Must Haves:

• Must have hands on experience with Zscaler SaaS proxy solution. Additional must haves are Zscaler DIA, Authentication Bridge, Nanolog Streaming Service, and Zscaler VZEN appliances.

Position Overview:

• The Enterprise Network Services team responsible for providing all network services for Client's internal and external customers is actively searching for a Senior Network Engineer with strong experience in Zscaler Proxy solution to help Client's continue to scale our business opportunities and future proof our network.
• This individual would:
  • Lead with design, configuration, troubleshooting and strategic planning of the Zscaler SaaS proxy solution.
  • Participate in technical discussions and provide recommendations or solutions for Zscaler products and services.
  • Demonstrate ownership of problems, issues and owns resolving requests from start to finish.
  • Document standards, work with Architecture to define new standards and address new business requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related engineering or sciences field or Equivalent job experience.
• Zscaler suite experience a must.
• Strong core knowledge and skills Zscaler DIA, Authentication Bridge, Nanolog Streaming Service, Stunnel, etc
• Experience building Zscaler VZEN appliances for DR/BC
• Experience defining business legitimate Categories for allowed traffic
• Strong experience with network router, switch, F5 GTM and LTM (any load-balancer experience), Firewall configurations.
• Familiar with Python, Ansible, or similar coding skills and automation experience, utilizing low-code solutions is also acceptable.
• Lead conversations to work with other network engineers and application developers to gather requirements and create a design document to address business needs.
• Knowledge of working with , JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint.
• Strong documentation skills and process creation experience.
