Overview: We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in the onboarding process of a new automated case management platform. This individual will collaborate closely with the project manager, product owner and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, create detailed use cases, and develop user stories to facilitate the seamless transition to the new system. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of successfully implementing business process improvements.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to the onboarding process onto the automated case management platform.
  • Use Case Development: Create comprehensive use cases that outline the interactions and workflows within the automated case management platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
  • User Story Creation: Translate business requirements and use cases into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria, facilitating the agile development process.
  • Collaboration with Project Manager: Partner with the project manager to prioritize tasks, track progress, and address any issues or challenges that arise during the onboarding process.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open communication channels with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions, providing regular updates and soliciting feedback as needed.
  • Testing Support: Assist in the creation of test plans and participate in user acceptance testing to validate that the automated case management platform meets the specified requirements and functionality.
  • Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and documentation to support end-users in adopting the new system effectively, providing ongoing support and guidance as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a business analyst, with a focus on process improvement and system implementation projects.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, including requirements elicitation, use case development, and user story writing.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex business processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Experience with automated case management platforms or similar systems is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are desirable.
