About the Role:
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in Assurance Data Analysis to support IT initiatives for the Enterprise Item Master and the Product Inquiry Dashboard. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing large dataset analysis to identify trends, patterns, and potential data issues, and communicating these findings to the program team. Collaboration with IT and Data & System Sr. Analyst will be essential to extract valuable information that supports our process operational approaches, decision-making, reporting, and any ad hoc data requests.
 
Duration: 12 months contract
 
Responsibilities:
  • Explore collected data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, interpret the findings, and present them to wider audiences such as the IT team and/or Risk and Compliance partners.
  • Conduct initial data analysis (data impact assessments) and present findings to the IT and Business teams, focusing on building out our Enterprise Item Master and the Product Inquiry Dashboard, as well as the Snowflake DataMart. Validate during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) that the data aligns with stakeholders’ expectations.
  • Perform statistical methods to analyze data and draw insights using techniques such as descriptive statistics, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and inferential statistics.
  • Collaborate with business partners to develop report prioritization and performance tracking, defining report requirements such as audience segmentation, frequency, KPI identification, and dashboard definition.
  • Provide context to performance through standardized and documented definition of key attributes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with business partners.
  • Lead the creation of effective reporting solutions to provide valuable insights to stakeholders through visual dashboards, scheduled reports, or customized ad hoc reports.
  • Monitor and manage the repository of reports, support ad hoc operational data requests and reporting, and periodically review the report catalog to assess usage and adjust reports as needed to meet current business needs.
 
Education Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • Merchandising, logistic, and retail sale at a product level experience (preferred)
 
Required Skills:
  • 5-10 years of experience in developing reporting strategies and dashboard development
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and a consistent record of driving efficiencies in reporting
  • Comfortable sourcing and working with large data sets
  • Ability to understand data and recognize trends
  • Report production capabilities
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to develop relationships at all levels of the business
