Job Title: Sr. Trade Accountant - Refined Products Trading and ETRM Expert

Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze financial statements related to refined products trading activities such as blending, rack sales (gasoline and diesel), and other trading strategies.
Monitor and report on key financial performance indicators (KPIs) such as P&L, trading margins, and inventory valuation.

Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and training materials for ETRM processes.
Monitor and manage trading risks including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk within established risk limits.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for refined products trading operations.
Provide financial insights and support decision-making for strategic initiatives, contract negotiations, and investment opportunities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or relevant professional certification preferred.
Extensive experience (5+ years) in accounting and finance roles with a focus on refined products trading, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
Proven expertise in using ETRM systems/Trade Management Tools for trade capture, valuation, and risk management.
Strong understanding of derivative instruments, hedge accounting principles, and financial modeling techniques.
Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
