About the Role:

• We are seeking a Scientist I (Assistant) to join our team in Varicella bulk vaccine manufacturing.
• The successful candidate will support a new PAT (process analytical technology) lab and laboratory operations within the Manufacturing Division (MMD).
• This is a temporary position for 3rd shift role.

Responsibilities:

• Execute routine assays and maintain laboratory operations
• Monitor and troubleshoot the Varicella zoster virus propagation process  Maintain GMP documentation and ensure laboratory maintenance  Collaborate with team members and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Education Qualification:

• BS in life science (e.g., Chemistry, biology, microbiology, immunology, virology, etc.), or engineering (e.g., biomedical, chemical)
• 1 year or less of experience needed for the role

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong data analysis/interpretation and scientific judgment
• Ability to work independently and in multi-functional teams
• Technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Experience with flow cytometry and immunoassays

preferred 

• Knowledge of GMP manufacturing and laboratory operations
• Proficiency in Excel and college-level laboratory techniques

• The position requires flexibility in working hours, including 3rd shift and rotating schedules based on manufacturing needs.
