About the Role:
The Data Protection Governance team is seeking a Data Protection Encryption Analyst to manage data encryption activities and ensure the protection of sensitive data in transmission and storage. The role involves analyzing encryption metrics, communicating with application managers, updating compliance reports, and identifying process gaps for improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly data protection encryption metrics through research and analysis.
• Communicate with application managers regarding non-compliance and explain remediation steps.
• Support reconciliation efforts to update compliance reports using internal applications.
• Understand Compliance Management and Risk & Governance for Log Analysis/Reviews/Monitoring.
• Create process documentation such as manuals, flow charts, and BRDs.  Ensure new applications adhere to enterprise encryption policies and track compliance weekly.
• Maintain compliance monitoring activities in Excel for audit deliverables. Handle Incident and Problem management, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
• Demonstrate critical thinking in process analysis and problem resolution. Operate with limited direct supervision.
• Collaborate with the Data Protection governance team to develop training material on application encryption. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• 6-9 years of relevant experience. 
  Solid knowledge of data encryption principles and infrastructure. Information Security/ITIL Certifications preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Office/Excel.
• Proven analytical and quantitative skills.
• Data-driven and results-oriented.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Customer-service oriented.
• Knowledge of tools like Archer, Cognos, CSI, Business View preferred.
