Job Description
Job Title: Analytics Consultant 
Location: Charlotte, NC // Des Moines, IA
Duration: 9 months
 

MUST HAVES:

  • Power BI (Sr: 4-5 years, Lead: 6-7 years)
  • Tableau (same as Power BI) 
  • Ability to Read Write and understand SQL Queries 
  • Experience with Teradata, SQL server or Oracle
  • Soft skills: Attention to detail, good communication and works well with a team

PLUSSES:

  • SAAS

  • Understanding of data models and ETL process
  • Cleanse, Prepare and Transform data into Power BI
  • Design and Build Data Visualizations 
  • DAX Knowledge (Programing language in Power BI)

DAY TO DAY:

  • This role will be assisting in the migration from SAP to Tableau and Power BI. They will be introduced to existing reports that will need conversion in the SAP tool.
  • There will be a report to report conversion and quality control checks done by peers to insure Quality Control. Providing feedback and recommendations for the Power BI environment for improvements.
  • Pulling reports from SQL Server, Teradata and Oracle and group the reports by their sources. The majority of these reports will be in Teradata.
  • They will have priority lists based on the sources to work through. Setting up configuration on the Power BI side, some will need data prep in the Power BI tool.
