About the Role:

• We are looking for a Biophysical Analytical Scientist to join our Material and Biophysical department.
• The role involves utilizing Biophysical analytical skills to characterize biotherapeutic drug products with a focus on product robustness.
• The position requires working in a collaborative team environment to support early and late stage formulation development.

Responsibilities:

• Execute testing protocols, including sample preparation, analytical testing, and data reporting with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot biophysical instruments at a basic level.
• Document and report results in an electronic notebook system.
• Review ELN notebooks.
• Communicate effectively with other technical groups, coordinate with team members to manage analytical workload.
• Perform phase appropriate biophysical characterization of formulations.

Education Qualification:

• BS/MS in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline.

Required Skills:

• Strong laboratory analytical skills.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Recent Research or Industrial experience with biophysical and biochemical techniques for biotherapeutics characterization.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of laboratory experience.

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Expertise in operating Biophysical instruments such as AUC, CD, HIAC, DLS, DSC, FTIR, SEC-MALS, MFI, Raman.
• Good understanding of protein science, protein/peptide stability, and protein-protein interactions.
