Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Work Location Address: Santa Monica, CA 90404
Hybrid (3 times a week in office)

Duration: 6 Months 

Pay Range: $55-$60/hour

Job Description:

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience managing technical projects in IT or related industries.
• Expertise in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum) and certifications (PMP, CSM, CSPO preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of technical disciplines, including SDLC, software development, cloud computing, and database engineering
• Experience with technology market research.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver successful mission-critical projects.

Project Management:

• Manage the delivery roadmap, plan and work closely with the project team, partners, customers and internal stakeholders to drive projects to conclusion.
• Define and implement project management processes tailored to the specific needs of each project.
• Use Project Management Tools such as Jira to manage agile scrum projects, resource capacity and track dependencies while ensuring completion of milestones within specific budgets and schedules.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively.
• Gather, document, and communicate project requirements.
• Track project progress, report status, and communicate critical updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Facilitate project governance activities, including planning, tracking, and reporting

Technical Leadership:

• Understand and apply technical architecture principles and best practices.
• Perform technology market scans and conduct vendor evaluations.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Recommend strategic technology solutions to business stakeholders.
• Participate in the design and implementation of technical solutions.

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• Advanced degrees or certifications in project management, technical disciplines, or business administration preferred.
