Position highlights:

Job Title: Java Developer

Level: C12 (2-5+ years)

Duration: 12-month CTH 

Location: Irving, TX – 75039 (hybrid requirement, onsite 2x a week)

Day to day Responsibilities:

• Primary development in Java and Microservices technology that uses Spring/Springboot
• Deploying and hosting the MS on a cloud PF (PCF)
• Slowly moving to openshift/Kubernetes and longterm AWS or GCP
• Daily scrum meetings, participating in planning/standpoints, test sessions
• Production Support and production activities and handling any issues that come up in production
• Will be responsible to monitor whatever is deployed
• Does not need someone with a prod support background
• Participate in their monthly releases
• Usually Friday or Saturday night to ensure code is deployed and validated
• MUST be avail during all monthly released (2nd or 3rd week of the month)
• Will be developing code 100% hands-on
• Responsibilities for planning and helping with future work
• Working with the TPMs, Product Owners, QA, etc.
• Every Developer must also handle testing and a couple of administrative-type tasks
