BFS National Office consists of various groups that support the strategic initiatives and operations of Small Business and Commercial Banking markets. This role will specifically support our Virtual account management, liquidity, cash management and
trade products/workstreams.  
 
Daily Responsibilities:
Describe a typical ‘day in the life’
  • This role’s focus will be to provide specific product expertise and support in both a pre and post migration capacity to clients and business partners. This role involves a deep understanding of a specific set of complex core services, concepts and best practices.
  • Provides solutions and business advice in relation to the migration of complex services with a consistent focus on building long term Financial Group relationships. At all times, takes personal accountability for the onboarding and on-going resolution of client/service/operations partner concerns.
  • Participate in go-to-market functions including preparing client facing presentation/materials, mailers, customized messaging to be used for facing clients
  • Participate in UAT for the product roll out in order to gain deep product expertise
  • You will collaborate directly with the project coordinators and clients and serve as the primary advocate for a specific complex service and provide applicable advice and thorough onboarding support throughout the migration process.

What program/technology/software knowledge is essential for this role? Describe in what capacity the selected candidate will be using it?
  • 5+ years of experience & strong subject knowledge in commercial payment services.
  • Experience in complex migration activities
  • Deposits Interest Rate Pricing
  • Solid ISO 20022 industry knowledge
  • French language proficiency is an asset
 
Must-have Skills/Experiences and/or Education, certifications, qualifications, designations:
  • Proven ability to prioritize and adapt to a fast paced environment, as this is an intense high volume transaction role requiring above average organizational skills and a proven capacity for coping with incoming and outgoing call / email volumes
  • Proven technical understanding of complex file structures, connectivity and ERP platforms.
  • Project management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; notably the ability to straddle high-level / strategic client conversations and the technical nuances of the product platform  
  • Strong Emotional Intelligence in facing diverse scenarios with customers
