Job Description:
Operate CNC Machines:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
  • Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
Sheet Metal Fabrication:
  • Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment, including shears, presses, and brakes.
  • Perform tasks such as cutting, bending, and forming sheet metal components.
  • Ensure all fabricated parts meet quality standards and specifications.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC and sheet metal fabrication equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with maintenance team for complex repairs and servicing.
Quality Control:
  • Inspect machined and fabricated parts to ensure they meet design specifications and tolerances.
  • Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality checks.
  • Document and report any discrepancies or non-conformances.
Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of safety in the workplace.
Collaboration and Support:
  • Assist in developing and improving machining processes and techniques.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Provide support to other machine shop personnel as needed.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines and/or sheet metal fabrication equipment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment is highly desirable.
Skills:
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming and G-code is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
