Job Title: PCB Engineer 

Job Location: Redmond, WA

Pay Range: $70/hr to $74/hr

Day to Day:  

• 3 categories
  • Ensuring correct spacing, design, etc
  • participating is design
  • Figure out what went wrong
  • Work with manufacturing to correct
  • Provide input to the sourcing manager, quality teams, and suppliers about the PCBs
  • Working with other teams
  • Some work with suppliers directly a well
• DMF portion; ensuring that they are designed for manufacturing correctly
• Doing root-cause analysis or trouble shooting PCBs and the manufacturing process
• Supplier qualification
• Travel
• Up to 50% travel !!!!!!!!!!!!

Must Have:

• Previously PCB engineer, designer, or layout (with extreme knowledge of PCB)
• They do NOT want PCBA experience - it must be PCB boards) 
• 4 years minimum, 5-6 years preferred

• Knowledge about process of PCB manufacturing
• Some experience with complex PCB
• Keywords to look for.. Micro VIA. DFMA (Design for manufacture ability)

• Worked with suppliers
• Managed PCB fabrications during the ENTIRE PCB lifecycle
• They want someone who understands the entire PCB process, not just the assembly or manufacturing part of it.
