  • Strong SQL proficiency is vital for data manipulation.
  • They should grasp data modeling concepts and database structures, with knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing as a plus.
  • Effective problem-solving and communication abilities are essential for collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Adaptability to new technologies and a commitment to learning are also crucial.
