What you’ll be doing:
  • You will work with cellular engineering and operations to ensure that the equipment required for our cell site improvement projects are available when needed to complete.
  • You’ll determine equipment needs and order and integrate a wide range of equipment such as cell site generators, batteries, heating/cooling, and other various site upgrade/replacement needs.
  • You’ll work closely with other Network teams such as RF Design, Operations, Real Estate, Construction, Facilities and System Performance to implement new technologies and services to meet project milestones.
Responsibilities:
  • Engineering and Design support of all equipment for multiple project types.
  • Initiating Material Requests for shipment from our centralized warehouse.
  • Forecast future equipment/budget needs based on project start dates.
  • Ensure proper tracking of all components.
  • Monitor all equipment expenditures.
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure vendor payment.
  • Oversee equipment receipt and acceptance.
  • Managing supplier relationships to meet targeted network milestones and turn-up dates.
  • Attending project update meetings to present status updates.
  • Following appropriate methods and procedures for equipment tracking and inventory control.
  • Review drawings for accuracy
 
You’ll need to have:
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members.
