About the Role:

• We are looking for a Solution Architect to define an architectural vision and solution architecture that aligns with our enterprise architecture strategy, technology, and platform choices. The ideal candidate will work with stakeholders, vendors/service providers, and evaluate the impact of strategic design decisions to ensure the solution is fit for purpose and use.

Responsibilities:

• Define the solution intent and operating environment, determine primary systems/subsystems and interfaces, and define non-functional requirements and architectural runway for new epics/features.
• Create the solution intent and architectural vision by working across business and technology, and evolve it to an emerging backlog. - Consult with the business to understand business problems and technology to understand technology challenges, finding creative solutions through practical experiments and POCs.
• Lead rapid shaping of a high-level architecture with details filled in with emerging business requirements, ensuring flexibility and modularity. - Utilize best practices, templates, and documentation to create architectural designs, suggesting improvements as needed.
• Work with the Product Manager/Owner to plan and prioritize technology, and focused backlog items for the architecture runway.
• Clarify architecture for development teams, provide solution options to resolve architectural impediments, and perform design and code reviews to ensure non-functional requirements are met.
• Educate team members on technology practices, standardization strategies, and best practices to create innovative solutions. Education

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Oracle Fusion, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, Linux/Unix, Shell Scripting, Exadata, and Golden Gate.
• Experience with Node.js is a plus.
• Strong technical skills in Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor.
