We are seeking an Entry-Level Lab Technician to join the Complaint Investigations Lab for a 6-month contract with the potential for extension. This role focuses on investigating customer complaints regarding blood glucose meters, strips, and sensors to resolve issues and document findings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical experience and a background in medical devices, biotechnology, or a similar industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely unpack returned products and sort them by product lines.
• Conduct investigations on returned products to resolve customer complaints related to blood glucose meters, strips, and sensors.
• Document findings and results of complaint investigations in the Complaint Handling System.
• Utilize testing and troubleshooting equipment, including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, test fixtures, microscopes, and other tools to complete investigations.
• Perform routine maintenance on quality records and ensure the validity of the testing equipment.

Skills & Qualifications:

Must-Have:

• Proficient computer skills for navigating internet programs and data entry.
• Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Ability to focus on repetitive and routine tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and written work instructions.

Preferred:

• Experience in the Medical Device or Biotech industry with a technical background.
• Knowledge of electronic troubleshooting is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work well in a team setting and collaborate with others.

Education Requirements:

• Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with relevant technical experience.
• Preferred: Associate’s Degree (2-year) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related science field.
• Recent college graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field are also encouraged to apply.

Pay Range: $25/hr to $28/hr
