Position:	Bigdata / Hadoop Developer
Duration:	12 Months (Possible Extension)
Location:	Jersey City, New Jersey or Chicago, Illinois or Denver, Colorado (Hybrid Model)

Job Description:

Key responsibilities:

Design and develop data processing and ingestion solution using Hadoop and related technologies(HDFS, MapReduce, hive, impala, pyspark) or Teradata.
Write scalable, robust and high performance code for data processing and analysis
Design and build data processing workflow and pipelines for batch or real time data.
Should be able to handle and write middleware services using python.

Required Skills:

Excellent development skills with Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, pyspark, hive, impala and Teradata
Working experience with Unix shell scripting
Working experience with Autosys
Experience with handling table huge data size
Excellent in writing optimized SQL queries keeping in mind data size
Well versed with performance improvement skills
Excellent problem solving and evaluative skills
Excellent attention to details
Good understanding of testing concepts in agile development
Good Understanding of Secure Coding Risk Management practices
