MAJOR INVESTMENT BANK IS LOOKING FOR HADOOP DEVELOPER FOR A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION IN Plano, TX or Atlanta, GA

Position  :  Hadoop Developer

Location :  Plano, TX or Atlanta, GA

Duration :  12 -18 Months contract to hire

Must Haves:
  • Strong Hadoop Development experience (5-6+ years experience)
  • Along with RDBMS (Exadata preferred)
  • Any data virtualization tool experience.
  • Looking for person should come in hit the ground running.
 Plusses:
  • Data Virtualization they use is Starbust
  • Banking/Finance client
  • Exadata experience
Description:
  • The role encompasses the full development lifecycle: requirements, design, develop, documentation, test and deployment.
  • Excellent data and technical analysis
  • Solid Experience of Big Data development (Hive, Impala or Spark)
  • Proficient in hands-on relational database/SQL development
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
