Location: Richmond, VA

Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

• Implement best practices for patching and vulnerability management/remediation
• Perform OS patching and software vulnerability remediation on critical applications
• Collaborate with application teams and engineering partners to develop patching flow instruction documentation
• Work with various teams to resolve issues during the patching process
• Willingness to work weekend and afternoon shifts
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with change and release management processes
• Experience with Truesight (Bladelogic) and BLCli/NSH automation scripting is a plus
• Strong drive for results and success
• Ability to persist in the face of difficulties
• Comfortable presenting and communicating with senior leadership team

Required Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of Linux/UNIX OS
• Experience with patching and vulnerability monitoring/remediation
• Knowledge/experience in Truesight (Bladelogic) is an added benefit
• Knowledge/experience in BLCli/NSH automation scripting is a plus
• Ability to work weekends and afternoon shifts
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with various teams
• Project management knowledge is a plus
