JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsbilities:

• Harden devices by managing user access, passwords, and network restrictions.
• Review and baseline logging capabilities for threat detection and system changes.
• Move SNMP monitoring to SNMPv3 and manage critical systems with appropriate alerts.
• Manage configurations to ensure security and remove obsolete settings.
• Implement password complexity requirements and manage password storage.
• Secure public certificates and SSH keypairs, ensuring proper storage and transmission protocols.
• Review and document the critical infrastructure, including router/switch networks, voice networks, and clinical functional VLANs.
• Work with Philips Networks to enhance security policies and monitor risks.
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with ISP and internet routing.
• Coordinate closely with the retiring Network Admin to absorb institutional knowledge and ensure a smooth transition.

Must Have:

• 7+ years of experience with Cisco IOS Routing and Switching
• 5+ years of experience with Cisco Nexus Routing and Switching
• 5+ years of experience with Cisco Security best practices in routing and switching
• Strong experience in direct configuration and firewall management
• Ability to work onsite in Carrollton, GA, with a preference for 5 day a week initially

Nice To Have:

• 3+ years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls (strong knowledge preferred)
• CCNP or CCIE in Routing and Switching (experience is more important than certifications)
• Healthcare background
