Position Details:

About the Role:

We are looking for a Data Security Analyst to implement and operate IT security solutions to ensure the infrastructure is secure. The analyst will be well-versed in best practices and regularly interface with the Bank GIS team for the latest guidance, recommendations, and requirements. As part of their responsibilities, they will provide research and decisions on security-related items in support of our applications.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development, testing, and implementation of security plans, products, and control techniques.
• Coordinate the reporting of data security incidents.
• Provide technical support to clients, management, and staff in risk assessments and implementation of appropriate data security procedures and products.
• Execute security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing e-commerce programs.
• Research attempted efforts to compromise security protocols.
• Administer security policies to control access to systems and maintain the company firewall.
• Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
• Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Use and apply basic technical principles, concepts, and techniques.

Education Qualification:

• Typically 3-5 years of IT experience.
• Strong understanding of various IT infrastructure components such as networking, servers, and security.

Required Skills:

• Worked with scanning and reporting products ( ESM, Qualys, Tanium, etc.).
• Strong understanding of information security and best practices.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with TippingPoint IDS.
• Experience with proxy management (BlueCoat, Firewall Gateway, etc.).
• Experience with certificate management.
• Experience with HSMs.
• Experience with pen-testing and vulnerability scanning.
