About the Role:

  • We are looking for a Scientist to join the Genome Sciences
  • Neuro-Immunology iPSC disease modeling group in Cambridge, MA.
  • The candidate will work on collaborative research projects to identify and validate new drug targets based on Human Genetics.
  • The role involves utilizing genetic and pharmacological manipulations of induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) model systems to understand the pathobiology of human diseases.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute assay protocols with iPSC-derived microglial cells, tri-culture, and brain organoid models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop functional assay readouts for neuroimmune drug targets.
  • Communicate and present data to a diverse group of scientists, including senior managers.

Education Qualification:

  • Candidate with MS with 8+ or PhD with 2+ years of experience in molecular/cellular biology or related biological fields.

Skill:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in collaborative research environments
  • Experience with human stem cell culture, genetic/genomic manipulations (CRISPR), biochemical assays, and automation
  • Previous experience in drug discovery projects
  • Experience in Neuroscience or Immunology is a plus
  • Experience in electrophysiological recordings is a plus
