About the Role:

We are looking for a Scientist to join the Genome Sciences
Neuro-Immunology iPSC disease modeling group in Cambridge, MA.
The candidate will work on collaborative research projects to identify and validate new drug targets based on Human Genetics.
The role involves utilizing genetic and pharmacological manipulations of induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) model systems to understand the pathobiology of human diseases.

Responsibilities:

Formulate and execute assay protocols with iPSC-derived microglial cells, tri-culture, and brain organoid models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop functional assay readouts for neuroimmune drug targets.
Communicate and present data to a diverse group of scientists, including senior managers.

Education Qualification:

Candidate with MS with 8+ or PhD with 2+ years of experience in molecular/cellular biology or related biological fields.

Skill:

Excellent communication skills
Experience in collaborative research environments
Experience with human stem cell culture, genetic/genomic manipulations (CRISPR), biochemical assays, and automation
Previous experience in drug discovery projects
Experience in Neuroscience or Immunology is a plus
Experience in electrophysiological recordings is a plus
