Purpose of Project:

To provide underwriting support to Commercial Bond Home Office and field (underwriting) to fill gaps resulting from restructuring.

Assist with initial new business submission risk assessment, account renewal reviews, field support and various other task assignments and projects.
Project Specifications:
-
Perform second level review of new and renewal business to assess the acceptability of the risk.

Prepare write up, recommendation and presentation to leadership for approval.

Respond to queries from the field and leadership.

Project and specific duties assigned as needed and focusing on surety account and bond underwriting and operations.

Knowledge of commercial surety underwriting and credit risk assessment required.
Requirements:

10+ years’ experience
-
Technical expertise is biggest factor, skilled with excel and PowerPoint, commercial and contract surety, financial analysis.
