About the Role:

  • The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Events Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing recruiting events that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
  • The role requires strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of DEI principles, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure successful event execution.
  • Utilizing Phenom People to enhance event management and participant engagement will also be a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning & Coordination: Design, plan, and manage DEI events, workshops, and seminars from inception to completion.
    This includes setting objectives, creating timelines, managing budgets, and coordinating logistics.
  • Phenom People Utilization:
    Use Phenom People to manage event registrations, track participant engagement, and analyze event metrics.
    Ensure seamless integration of event data with DEI goals and reporting. 
  • Collaboration: Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and stakeholders across different divisions to align on DEI events.
  • Marketing & Communications: Develop promotional materials and communication strategies to increase event participation and engagement.
    Utilize various platforms and channels to effectively reach target audiences.
  • Evaluation & Reporting: Gather feedback and analyze data from events using Phenom People analytics.
    Prepare reports and make recommendations for future improvements.

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.

Required Skills: 

  • 2+ years of experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in a DEI or related industry.
  • Experience with Phenom People or similar event management and HR software.
  • Strong knowledge of DEI principles and practices. - Excellent organization and multitasking skills.
    Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in event planning or project management.
  • Familiarity with social media and digital marketing strategies. 
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a similar regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with recruiting events (i.e., NSBE, SHPE, SACNAS, and Prospanica).
