Position Overview:
  • Primarily a lower-level project management role focused on supporting clinical supplies packaging.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Gather and translate information from project management into packaging orders.
  • Handle comparator procurement by working with external wholesalers.
  • Set up materials in the GMP inventory system (includes packaging materials, drug dosage forms, devices, labels).
Desired Experience and Skills:
  • Project Management: Micro-level project management skills are essential; experience in coordinating across different groups.
  • Supply Chain/Manufacturing: Experience in supply chain operations is valuable. Manufacturing experience is not critical but can be helpful.
  • Clinical Trials: Experience in clinical trials or familiarity with pharmaceutical clinical studies is preferred but not required.
  • GMP Quality: Experience with GMP quality oversight is beneficial.
  • Cross-functional Interfaces: Experience working with project management, materials groups, packaging coordinators, and QA.
Technical Skills:
  • Experience with MS Access is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in clinical supply packaging or regulated environments are beneficial.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Preferably 2 years of industry experience, though slightly less may be considered if the experience is highly relevant.
  • Advanced degrees (e.g., Master's) are not required but will be considered positively if combined with appropriate experience.
Role Dynamics:
  • Hybrid work setup
  • The role involves a lot of computer-based work, primarily through emails and teams.
  • Contractors may have opportunities to work on internal initiatives, but this is not part of the core responsibilities.
Additional Considerations:
  • Broader supply chain experience and strong project management skills are considered valuable, even if not directly related to clinical trials.
  • Experience from both sponsor and site sides of clinical trials is acceptable.
Packaging Design:
  • The role does not involve packaging design. The focus is on executing orders and setting up materials in the system.
