Senior Network Engineer

Day To Day Responsibilities:

  • Work on AVI migration tasks, with a focus on AVI load balancing (NSX Advanced Load Balancer).
  • Collaborate on infrastructure engineering projects, including supporting network design and architecture efforts.
  • Troubleshoot and work with NSX Distributed Firewalls, routers, switches, and other networking technologies.

Must-Have:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in network engineering
    • Needs to understand basic network technologies including LAN, WAN, virtualization, etc.
  • Strong NSX background 
    • Need someone who has done deployments, can support/troubleshoot network problems, etc.
    • Wants someone who has done designs and implementations - not looking for operations, need a strong engineer
    • Micro-segmentation, AVI Load Balancers, F5.
  • Troubleshooting DFW's - VMware, network analyzers, network insights, etc.
  • Good communication skills

Nice To Have:

  • NSX Migration experience
  • Experience with scripting in Ansible.
  • Azure/AWS Experience
