Responsibilities:

• Engage in new builds and coding from scratch.
• Maintain and upgrade existing codebases.
• Participate in substantial new development projects.
• Improve and optimize existing code.
• Follow Agile methodology, including daily stand-ups with the development team.

Must-Have Skills:

• Python Development: Hands-on experience with coding from scratch and new builds.
• Data Handling: Experience dealing with large amounts of data.
• Distributed Systems: Expertise in developing distributed systems.
• Server-Side Development: Strong skills in backend development.
• Frameworks: Knowledge of Angular is a plus.

Design Skills:

• Exposure to design aspects and knowledge.
• Ability to participate in design discussions.
• Competence in approaching and solving basic design questions, such as system design.

Other Requirements:

• Communication: Excellent communication skills for interacting with global teams.
• Work Ethic: Motivated, independent, proactive, and a self-learner.
• Industry Experience: Background in the financial sector, specifically banking or regulatory reporting, is preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
