Position: Linux System Analyst

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Houston, TX

Responsibilities:

Onshore/Offshore

Install, configure, and maintain Linux Server operating systems and related software.
Monitor system performance and reliability, and proactively address issues to ensure uptime and scalability.
Scripting for managing configurations and vulnerability patching.
Perform proactive maintenance tasks to optimize server performance and prevent potential issues.

Education and Experience Requirement:

Required Education and Experience:

Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator, with a minimum of 4 years in a similar role.
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms.
Familiarity with networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN) and protocols.
Vulnerability patching and configuration remediation
Bash, Python, or Ansible scripting
