Position details:

Title: Senior Writer/Editor -Journalistic writing

Client: Bank

Location: San Francisco, CA,

Duration: 6 months Contract to hire/possible extension

Pay Rate: $45 – 50/ HR

Responsibilities:

Ghost-writing/editing articles and other content on behalf of investors, , portfolio companies, etc.
Supporting the end-to-end production of Ventures’ content, including:
Managing visual assets such as stock images and graphics
Obtaining all necessary approvals prior to publication
Publishing articles on Ventures’ internal and external websites
Writing web copy, marketing emails, social media posts, etc. as needed

Qualifications:

Excellent writing and editing skills – work samples required
3-5 years of experience creating and distributing digital marketing content
Ability to synthesize complex ideas and “translate” technical topics into accessible language
Tech-savviness, resourcefulness and grit needed to deliver against tight deadlines
Flexibility to think strategically and implement tactically, and to learn new fields and concepts on the fly
