JOB DESCRIPTION

Day To Day Responsbilities:

A typical day for a .NET developer with Kafka experience involves developing .NET applications, integrating with Kafka, consuming and producing messages, optimizing performance, troubleshooting issues, collaborating with teams, and staying updated on technologies.

Must Have:

  • Kafka: Architecture, administration, client libraries, troubleshooting.
  • .NET: C#, framework/core, API development, microservices.
  • API: Design, documentation, testing, security.
  • Additional: Data streaming, cloud platforms, event-driven architecture.
  • Communication: eager & willing to learn, high energy, good communication skills with C-level teams.

Responsibilities

  • Should be able to handle Kafka basic operations like topic management, consumer management, offsets management, mirror maker, troubleshooting logs etc.
  • Should be able to handle Kafka cluster wise operations (setting up, shutting down, stabilization, starting up, troubleshooting Zookeeper connectivity).
  • Must be fluent in using Kafka connectors.
  • Optional: Should know about Kafka streams.
