Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to the back-office team by ensuring smooth operation of risk compliance and management systems.
  • Work closely with traders and front-office teams to understand trading activities and assist in ensuring data integrity.
  • Extract, validate, and troubleshoot data across ETRM systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with various teams to implement improvements, build prototypes, and automate solutions where necessary.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to pull, analyze, and manipulate data as needed for risk management, compliance, and reporting purposes.
  • Assist with data migration, system integration, and testing during system updates or upgrades.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems.
  • Expertise in SQL and database management, with the ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries.
  • Solid understanding of front-end trading operations, including risk compliance and management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with multiple ETRM platforms (such as OpenLink, Endur, Allegro, or similar).
  • Knowledge of risk and compliance regulations specific to the O&G industry.
