Title: F5 Engineer

Location: Pennington, New Jersey( Hybrid, 3 day onsite, 2 day remote)

Duration: 12-18 Months

Mission (what will this person be accomplishing for you in the business?):

• The F5 Designated Engineer is responsible for optimizing F5 investments and addressing F5 product-related issues.
• They will oversee, manage, and coordinate the network policy, and assist with configuration and troubleshooting of F5 load balancers.

Day-to-Day:

• Manage the load balancing network and application requirements
• Collaborate and coordinate with internal support teams
• Provide timely reports and updates to management
• Monitor and troubleshoot F5 product-related issues
• Configure and optimize F5 load balancers
• Assist in developing and implementing policies related to the F5 environment

Must Haves:

• Knowledge and experience with Agile tools (Jira)
• Ability to manage F5 Devices
• Knowledge of F5 Objects
• Experience with Jira for tracking
• Experience with UNIX/SHELL SCRIPTS

Plusses:

• Previous experience working in a financial institution is a plus
• Agile related certifications (e.g. SAFe Scrum Master, CSM, PSM)
• Familiarity with Enterprise Change Management
