Job Description:

• The primary responsibility of this position is to act as a project engineer and project support engineer for capital projects, focusing on proper measurement design and mechanical design.
• The role involves providing technical expertise in various measurement equipment and supporting capital project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Project scoping, design engineering, and design review/support (50%)
• Equipment/material procurement and construction coordination/support (30%)
• Equipment specification and development of department standards (10%)
• Field/O&M technical support (10%)
• Coordinate with internal departments such as MR&C engineering, pipeline engineering, operations, supply chain, project management, and more

Education Qualification: -

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering field
• Masters or other advanced degree in a technical or scientific field is preferred

Required Skills: -

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Technical writing experience in engineering specifications
• Project engineering experience
• Ability to work in a team and problem-solve
• Familiarity with the Michigan Gas Safety Code
• Knowledge of gas measurement equipment and electronic flow measurement 

Professional Engineering (PE) license –
