Job Description

Position:	QA Automation Engineer
Duration:	12 Months (Possible Extension)
Location:	Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid Model)

Position Summary:

Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for testing and delivering complex software to accomplish business outcomes.
These individuals are subject matter experts on testing practices ensuring that software is tested to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
They help condition and generate test data, build, and execute both manual and automated test suites, record and communicate the test results, and assist with triaging defects

Required Skills:

Minimum of 5 years of UAT experience
Well-versed with all the aspects of SDLC and Agile concepts
Strong development skills with ability to understand technical design and translate the same into workable solution
Strong in Functional testing
Strong in Automation testing like Selenium
Strong in ETL testing, concepts, SQL Server, or database ( familiar in writing queries, functions, Stored procedures etc.)
Experience or exposure in Agile methodology
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Strong knowledge in Agile methodology
Able to create detailed, comprehensive test cases/scripts/scenarios based on Business requirements/user stories
Experience with JIRA
Able to apply test strategies
Ability to provide testing status/reporting

Desired Skills:

Resource who has previously done enterprise application development or at least obtained the strong level of education in information systems/application development that provides for a full understanding of distributed enterprise applications – the components, the lifecycle, etc.
Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure
High proficiency on MS office skills
Excellent Communication skills
