About the Role:

• We are seeking a Loan Operations Specialist to perform accurate and timely loan transactions, account research, loan maintenance, escrow processing, and DDA deposits.
• The role also involves responding to loan and deposit balance verification requests, processing wire transfers, and ensuring system integrity.

Responsibilities: -

• Perform accurate and timely loan transactions and account research
• Process escrow transactions and DDA deposits using APA system
• Respond to loan and deposit balance verification requests from internal and external parties 
• Balance general ledger entries and work with the Accounting department to correct discrepancies
• Review various reports to alleviate potential customer impact issues
• Research requests to a logical conclusion and execute remedial action
• Provide world-class customer service to internal and external customers
• Assist team members with daily workload to ensure timely completion of assignments 
• Actively seek opportunities to improve process efficiency and quality

Education Qualification: -

• High School diploma, some college preferred - Strong accounting background
• 1+ years of related job experience with knowledge of bank loan and deposit products

Required Skills: -

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong customer service skills
• Working knowledge of government regulations 
• Proficiency in Client systems such as Hogan, ALS, CLS, Loan IQ, and Lotus Notes
• Working knowledge of loan accounting and loan systems

Preferred Qualifications: -

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in systems like Document Direct and KeyView Deluxe
