Who We’re Looking For

• A passionate and highly motivated Senior Circuitry Engineer to join our Electronic Systems Department.

Description

• The primary responsibility of this role is Wire Harness Circuit Design. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will support our objective to design and develop wire harness for various vehicle programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop wire harness (engine, engine room main, instrument panel, floor, door, roof) for North American vehicle programs.
• Create sub-system wiring diagrams, fuse load lists, grounding system layouts, and wire harness drawings based on system component specifications.  
• Interface with system component engineers (bus system, head lamp, air bag ECU, audio, engine fuel ignition ECU, etc.).
• Formulate drawings on CAD systems (wire harness Cabling Design).
• Support and troubleshoot wiring harness related issues during prototype build stages.
• Participate in team problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Work to schedules in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred, with fundamental electrical design knowledge).
• Experience with 2D electrical CAD software (Zuken Cabling Designer, Capital, Mentor Graphics, etc.).
• 5+ years of experience as an electrical design engineer.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
• Hybrid work schedule (3 day onsite, 2 day from home).

Preferred Qualifications

• MS degree in Engineering.
• Experience in vehicle electronics development.
• Experience in wire harness development.
