Position Title: Benefits Specialist - Life Insurance

Role Responsibilities:

Analyze and develop policies and benefit plans, including life, long-term disability, long-term care insurance, retirement, profit sharing, and pension plans.
Stay up to date on current benefit trends and legislative requirements.
Research beneficiary, assignment, and claims issues.
Train team members on benefit plans and potentially work on special projects.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of benefit programs and life insurance rules relating to benefits.
Advanced PC skills.
Commitment to customer service and a team-oriented work environment.
Leadership skills.
Attention to detail and strong follow-up abilities.
Strong research skills.
Document server repository experience.
Ability to handle confidential PII (Personally Identifiable Information) professionally.
Experience with workflow systems.
Salesforce experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3+ years of relevant insurance industry experience.
