Title: Systems Engineer
Location: Houston, TX  (Hybrid)
Duration: Contract Or Contract to hire
 
Day-to-day:
  • Assist in coming up with migration plan - moving systems from the IT to the OT environment
  • Patching and maintenance of environment
  • Monitoring daily reports of backups
  • Conducting system health checks
Must-haves:
  • 6-10 years of experience in systems engineering
  • Experience with Windows 10/11, Active Directory, DNS (domain name server), window server
  • Window server
  • Group policy
  • SolarWinds, SCCM, SCOM
  • Systems certifications; MCSA/ Certified SCADA Architect (CSA)/ Certified SCADA Technician (CST)/ Certified Automation Professional (CAP) - Oil and Gas, etc.
Plusses:
  • Coming from an OT (operational technology) background
  • Azure, VMware , Vcenter, Vsphere
